Holy moly this year has been wild so far. We’re at the end of April and I feel like I’ve run 10 marathons and been through 5 years.
We’re headed into week 8 (of 12) of University and I am definitely still not on top of it. I just submitted my first assessment but need to have a rough draft of my second ready in a week and you know I do not have that. At all. I have to get cracking on it, but in typical ‘me’ style I will most likely complete the draft a day before 🤷🏼♀️
Being at home with the kids throws in a little difficulty to my writing and University time. I don’t get much time through the day to do much (anything, really) so I can only do it at night… at which point I am way too tired to do University. I usually write or play a game so… Uni is not going super well. I know I’ll get it done, it’s just a bit of an added stressor.
My writing is going well, though! I’ve been entering a few competitions and continuing on my novel. I’m making some good progress which is really exciting. I’m aiming to have it done by November, ready to submit into a manuscript competition. Hopefully I manage the deadline!!
I’ve got more short stories and poems to write and upload into my blog. I’ll do that over the next few weeks and check back in when Uni is over!
