Emilie Turner is an Australian author of fantasy and historical fiction. When she isn’t on Instagram or writing blog posts, she’s working on her forthcoming novel, Journey to New Lands.
Emilie has been telling stories for most of her life. She created her first fantasy world at six years old and wrote her first novel at ten, and from that point on, writing was never far from her. With a vivid imagination and a lifelong love of story, she is drawn to creating worlds that feel immersive, emotional, and alive.
She holds a BA in Creative Writing and Human Resources and is currently completing her MA in Literary Studies. Her love of literature and storytelling is shaped both by study and by instinct, combining craft, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the stories that stay with us.
Emilie’s travels through other countries have also influenced her writing, allowing her to walk through places steeped in history and imagine the paths her characters might take through them. When she’s not writing, she loves spending time with her family and playing with her cats.
